Liquid End - Cataloguing the student´s output
This chapter shows the phases of the urban development in the future-scenario of Rijeka. The categories we catalogue the students outcome are public spaces, integrated infrastructure, innovation hub, openindustry and social housing.

Reviving Mlaka“ is a proposal on how to develop harbor brownfields by cleaning the environment and creating a sustainable production of energy and food and supporting education in these subjects."
"In
order to revitalize the port, it has to be accessible to the public.
Leisure activities such as sports play a crucial role in reviving. The
goal is to transform certain industrial areas and connect the port and
the city with green spaces and public squares.The port becomes a lively
place that also serves as a destination for tourists."

"The project consists in the development of a circulation system that sometimes becomes architecture, sometimes public space, sometimes mobility. The aim is to ensure the visual and direct access to the water edge along the entire harbor."

"The concept:contradictions within the process. Given that in the very first years the shipyard industry will need to slowly recover from the actual bankruptcy situation and that, for this reason, it won‘t need very many buildings all of a sudden, two areas are „land-lease“ given to the public in order to trigger a change into the neighboring areas. While they are raising attractivity and density, the upcoming shipyard has plenty of time to fully recover."
"Because today the place is open but full of cars and not a place to be., it was important to my project that the view and the open space would bot be destroyed by high buildings or extreme interventions. It was important to design a simple place that is modular.."
