"The project answers several challenges. Of all the possible challenges that the city of Rijeka has worked out, the following have emerged for me:
The basic goal is a general port revitalization. The way to achieve this goal can be approached in different ways. My proposal is to reach it through diversity. Diverse elements which seem to be contradictory are united and interlaced. Their harmony resembles a symbiosis."

But Croatia is investing with help of the EU a lot of money into the Train line. They are redoing the Trail tracks, and aim to have a regular schedule. Along the harbor on the city side of the trainstatioin is a bus line, that goes along the harbor, so in this way the city is well connected."

"My intervention concerns about remediation of the territory of the former oil refinery to reduce negative effects on human health and the environement. By Creating a public park, after cleaning the soil, the territory should be given back to the population and perform as a green lung of Rijeka. The park creates connections between hill settlements and the sea coastline. For sensitization of the citizens for environmenal sustainibility and clean water, our interative sensitization center with worhshops will be integrated in the park."
