"The aesthetics of industry is one of the central themes of my project. If we take a look at the deconstruction of ships, we can find behind the dirty facade, a post-industrial aesthetic. I created the concept idea of the floating event hall based on the construction of the Titanic. If we take one of these bulkheads we can play with the logic of shipbuilding and create something new. The basic idea is a floating intervention that activates certain locations through its temporary presence and provides impact for further actions."

"Starting from the Metropolis Complex, the project brings the city above the active port. Elevated bridges become city streets; contradictions between the city and the port are seen as productive collisions that shape the place‘s specificity and identity."

"The goal of the project is to initiate urban revival in the city by fostering connectivity and accessibility of public spaces and to establish an urban identity."

"The shipyard should create new innovations through interaction between the workers and citizens and become an economic driver again. The interaction is created by a circulation between the city and the shipyard. Public ramps drive the circulation by connecting the street and the park with the innovation hub and provide visual accessibility through the otherwise privatized shipyard. Through this interplay between city and port, the ship industry is brought closer to the citizens."
