This week the biggest challenge of our Liquid University experiment startet - The Mid-Term Review for our Design Studio, Liquid City Rijeka.We welcomed our guests Pippo Ciorra (Seniar Curator, MAXXI Museum, Rome, Italy), Alessandra Ciancetta (University of Vienna / Cooper Union), anne Graupner (26´10 South Architects), Gruia Badescu (University of Konstanz), Nela Kadic (TU Wien) and Ina Valkanova (of our LUS Doctoral School).

One
of pur students, Marco Yue, was among thousands of young Swiss military
reservists summoned to participate in the Federal campaign to offset
the impact of COVID-19 in Switzerland.
To
our own surprise, this did not prevent his participation in the
Mid-Term review. to digitally extend the Mid-Term itself into a military
barracks was unprecedent, not only benefiting the student, but also
bringing into focus questions about where education happens and who a
student can be.
